Regular users are saving at $20 a month by swtiching to an internet based phone.

Vonage, which started offering VoIP in April 2002, has 1.5 million lines nationwide, including 5,000 in Wichita. SunRocket launched service nationwide about 15 months ago and is on target to have 100,000 customers by the end of April, Lustig said. It started serving the Wichita area on Monday.

New realestate site offers free evaluations

New site Zillow offers property buyers a free valuation service.

The Web site’s test version, which launched on Feb. 8, has quickly become the Internet’s hottest new attraction.

“Our expectations for traffic have been greatly exceeded,” said company spokeswoman Amy Bohutinsky. “This tells us that we’re on to something useful.”
